PRE-FESTIVAL WEEKEND 2023
9 September: at 2.30 pm: Spirit of the Landscape Exhibition opening.
9 & 10 September 10am to 2pm: International World-Wide Paint Out, Mandjar Square Mandurah.
19 September: Experience Peel Paint Out #1. Ravenswood Hotel
19, 20 & 21 September: Matt Ryder Oil Painting Masterclass.
MASTERING YOUR SUBJECT, IN AND OUT OF THE STUDIO
In this three-day masterclass Matt covered all aspects of his oil painting techniques for painting both in and out of the studio.
21 September: PORTRAIT NIGHT.
20 & 21 September: Leon Holmes Oil Painting Masterclass, en plein air.
The Fundamentals of Plein Air. In this two-day Masterclass, Leon focused on perspective and scale, lights and darks, tonal values, colour mixing and a myriad of oil painting tips and tricks.
22 September: Experience Peel Paint Out #2. The Giant, Coodanup
22 September: Meet & Greet and Artist Orientation in the gardens of the Leon Holmes Gallery.
22 September: Andy Dolphin Workshop, plein air drawing.
22 September: James Walker Workshop, How to Write an Artist Statement.

In this three-day Masterclass Amit shared his inspiration and skills in both a studio and plein air setting.
26 September: Matt Ryder Oil Painting Masterclass.
FLORAL PAINTING ONE DAY MASTERCLASS
In this intensive full day Masterclass Matt provided the tools needed to create realistic flowers that are filled with life and light, using loose impressionistic brush work.
