Do you want to paint outdoors, show your work, and meet awesome people?
You can do all of this at Plein Air Down Under’s workshops and outdoor painting festival.
The workshops below will give you the skills and excitement to take part in the Plein Air Down Under Outdoor Painting Festival, this September long weekend. You don’t have to be a professional artist, but you might be inspired to become one!
Workshop Series 1 “Outdoor Painting Fundamentals for 12 – 18 year olds” at CASM Mandurah on Sat 2, Sunday 10, Sat 16, Sat 23 August.
Workshops Series 2 “Legendary Landscapes Workshop Series for 5 – 12 year olds” at Dawesville on Mon 15, Fri 19, Sat 20 September.

Workshop Series 1 – Outdoor Painting Fundamentals 12 – 18 year olds
These workshops have been made possible by Xanthe Turner and proudly supported by the WA Government. Attend the first workshop for $10, then the following workshops are only $5!

Workshop Series 2 – Legendary Landscapes Workshop Series 5 – 12 year olds
This workshop series, brought to you by the City of Mandurah and the Plein Air Down Under Outdoor Painting Festival, will inspire children to capture their environment on canvas! Legendary Landscapes will guide budding young artists through the exciting challenge of painting outdoors, from choosing scenery, using perspective and showing off the colours of the environment.

Painting at the Plein Air Down Under Festival
A Plein Air Down Under Festival Weekend Youth Artist Registration is only $10 and includes:
– Outdoor painting all weekend in Mandurah & Pinjarra
– Over $500 in awards and prizes
– Showing your paintings inside the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre
– Painting in the two-hour Quick Draw Competition on Monday 29 September
